Come for the Latin inspired food, stay for the colorful cocktails. Mexican Sugar takes inspiration from Mexican and Latin American cuisines to create fresh twists on classics. Try the Seafood Paella for a dish packed with flavor– scallops, shrimp, mussels, Spanish chorizo, heirloom tomatoes, peas and saffron rice are just some of the ingredients that grace your plate.
The food is good and might leave you wondering if you even need to order a drink. You do. The drinks are made with fresh juice, hand squeezed every day. The sleek bar sports subtle Spanish influences. Cocktails are available on tap or hand made. Try the Hibiscus Margarita, comprised of reposado tequila, infused-hibiscus water, simple syrup, lime, and orange liqueur.
Another popular drink is the Machete (our favorite.) For those who love a little kick in their drink, the Machete uses a serrano infused blanco tequila, watermelon, cucumber, agave, lime, and mint.
There is, of course, plenty of tequila choices. If beer and wine are more your speed, Mexican Sugar has a robust menu for both. Most of the beer and wine selection is Mexican or South American, providing the perfect pair with your meal.
The menu offers classic fare such as ceviche and queso blanco as well as unique twists including the squash blossom quesadilla and Spanish charcuterie.
Mexican Sugar is open and welcoming with a long bar, open dining area and exposed kitchen. Enjoy the atmosphere and try something new.
